Please could you clarify something :-

Section 1.6 "Any other name by which you have been known"

In this section, should my wife put her maiden name, has we are using her married name for the rest of the application ? (Her passport HAS been updated with her new married name)

Or, should it be left blank has her Christian name is still (and always will be) the same.

I think you should put her maiden name here: FirstName Surname, followed by "Maiden Name" in brackets, just to be sure.

like Iain have said, yes you should use the MAIDEN NAME of ur wife..that is also what Ive used when I applied with my FLR before..

My Wife's name WAS Jessica Moron Gonzales
She is now Jessica Gonzales Cochrane (since our marriage)

Her passport has been amended to show her name as "Jessica Cochrane"

On form FLR(M1)

Section 1.4 Full name : JESSICA GONZALES COCHRANE

1.5 Surname or Family name : Cochrane

1.6 Any other names by which you are of have been known:

should section 1.6 be left Blank, OR should it contain "JESSICA MORON GONZALES" ?
