mrs trader dave - I'm not sure whether this is an English custom or just an ignored global custom, but I know Englishmen especially don't appreciate any "dirty laundry" being aired in public
It seems to me its a misunderstanding, miscommunication, other words starting with mis....
Trader dave comes across as a very frank guy, and you might not be used to this aspect, as I've heard filipino culture tends to be the complete opposite to this.
I'm not on anyone's side here, just trying to offer an explanation from my perspective
