Help : Hotel to stay in london

Hello everyone, just wanted to ask if anyone here can recommend a good 3 or 4 star hotel in london.
Me and hubby plan to go there and were looking to stay at a hotel close to the local key attractions, shops and restaurants,
we wanted to maximize our 4-day stay there and get around and explore the city as well as the cultural and main attractions.....
    Thanks guys in advance

Use the HOTEL selection in the top right of the forum ...and check the ratings/comments.

We stayed in a hotel next to Earls Court Tube station last time, which was handy as there is Filipino restaurant and two filipino supermarkets nearby. Also was fairly easy to get round and about. We stayed at the Shaftsbury Kensington which was fairly reasonable 3 star accomodation with modern rooms and cost 40 GBP for a night.

www.travelsupermarket.com is a good place for comparing deals on hotels, as well as laterooms.com, lastminute.com and booking.com
Whenever you find a good deal, it is always always always worth checking reviews on www.tripadvisor.co.uk as it will give you a good idea of what the hotel is like and whether you will be ok there.

Its worth checking out the Hilton website.

Last time we went to London we stayed at the Hilton, Edgware Road.
    Excellent hotel, fantastic buffet breakfast.

    The reason we stayed there?
They had a half price offer on!

    .

Sometimes you're flush and sometimes you're bust, and when you're up, it's never as good as it seems, and when you're down, you never think you'll be up again. But life goes on.
The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the passion that she shows to the outside world.
