Hi Ross,
My kids (aged 8 & 11) and I applied our visas at the same time on separate applications and fees.
We were granted our visas on the 9th week of the said application with no interview at all,so don't worry as long as you'll satisfy all the documents needed by the embassy,you'll surely both be granted with visa.
