    documents ready, need advice

Hi everyone. Our documents for spousal visa application are ready. The agency is full of crap. The agency we hired told us they are gonna call the british embassy for our appointment but when i asked them if they have, they said they haven't because they were so busy! I was so furious! They are full of delaying tactics, they just want our money! But its our fault, my husband just want their assistance because im pregnant but they are not helping us at all! It just give me so much stress.

We want to do it on our own now, because my tummy is getting bigger and we want to get the visa on time, hopefully before december this year.

My questions are: after i get the schedule from the embassy, do i need to go to manila for a personal appearance and possible interview? Should i write in my application form that im pregnant? how long do you think the british embassy will give me my appointment? please help...i need your advice...

Sorry to hear about your situation. It is very easy to apply these days but understand that hubby is worried because your pregnant. You can mention that you are pregnant in additional informations. About the interview, it depends on your case but lots of member in this forum did not go for interview they just got their visa. You can check this out for scheduling your appointment

    Ouchhh
To me it looks like the agency you've hired is feeding you st - you can NOT get an appointment with the embassy, you have to submit your application PERSONALLY at VFS (see the the link posted by ScottishBride) as you have to undergo the biometrics - fingerprint scan and digital full face photography.
These times they do not do interviews very often - haven't heard of anybody interviewed on this forum recently, I guess they do them just when the circumstances are unclear and there is not enough support documentation and evidence provided by applicant (about relationship etc. etc.)
I would advise you to request all the paperwork (documents, letter of support, evidence of your relationship) back from the agency as it seems to me that they are really only after your money and do it on your own.
It is not so difficult to compile all the evidence and paperwork necessary - especially with the goldmine of information and advice found on this forum
I think if you will manage to apply sometime till the end September (earlier better & safer = you will get a bigger time margin) you should be alright and by December you could be in here in UK.
But - have to remind you - there were major delays at the visa section at the embassy recently (we ourselves been waiting for fiancee visa for 17 weeks ). I think it might be good idea to mention your pregnancy in the additional information or in the separate letter to the embassy included in your application - they might look at your app favourably and it might speed it up a little (but do not bet on this too much).
    Wish you good luck

I agree. Go to their office and ask for all of your paperwork back and don't leave their office without it. Then get your visa application pack compiled and ready for submission, pay your visa fee at one of the designated banks and apply online for an appointment. Although there is currently a delay in the processing of applications, I don't think there is any delay in the availability of appointments to submit applications.

Yeah - my Maricel made her appointment on-line too as you don't need to wait in front of AXA building very very early in the morning (some people coming there about 4 am) to get a slot...

Yes, I used online to schedule my appointment, It is very easy and faster. If you call the VFS they are charging 32.00 pesos per minute- PLDT- Bayantel subscriber only ( But not sure if you can schedule appointment over the phone). I suggest you go online- it's free.

ji, is it possible for me to call the embassy instead of applying online? Maybe its faster and they can entertain me and give me an early schedule? What do you think?

Nope I am afraid - you really can't as the application process as it is (submitting the app etc.) is done by private company - VFS in behalf of UK Embassy...
Not sure if you can schedule appointment over the phone with VFS... but I think not...

i was pregnant before when i appllied a spouse visa, around 3months i think. before then i make sure that everything is in order , supplied all the neccessary or even d unncesssary i tried to put it all in one together as well. and yes luckily i got the visa with no interview...so its all depend on yours...theres a question on the form if you have a child ...then explain your current situation.....I was 28weeks pregnant when i flew to uk with no problem as long as you have the medical certificate from your doctor.

As we all know, it's so easy to be 'wise after the event' but, in my opinion, you'd be better-off financially - and save TIME, too - by dispensing with this agency's services altogether. Gather all the evidence between your two selves ... ensuring that your husband's letter of sponsorship specifically draws attention to your pregnancy, and the fact that HE would prefer to travel WITH you to the United Kingdom in the best interests of YOURS and your unborn child's welfare.

Although I obviously cannot guarantee it, I should imagine your present state would, if anything, strengthen ... and MAYBE even expedite ... the process, since the Embassy will [or ought to be] aware of your need to avoid stressful situations as much as possible.

This suggestion is simply reiterating the thoughts I expressed in response to one of your earlier posts, and once again, I wish you every success with your application. But should you require any further advice, please do not hesitate to ask.
