you are applying for fiancee visa which means you are getting married in UK..so i think CENOMAR is one of the requirements..

yes abby u need to submit CENOMAR when u apply fiancee visa not only in british embassy but mostly country u need to submit CENOMAR is u will going to there country as fiancee visa.Originally Posted by abby

We certainly didn't provide one and it's not on the checklist on the vfs website. They only ask for documents if you have been married before.
The Embassy will do their own checks anyway.
Just provide cenomar as its better to be with it when you applied for your fiancee visa -thats the equivalent of Certificate of No Impediment - and in attending the cfo they might surely ask for it when you least expected it. And we dont want to travel back and forth,loss time, money and effort, just apply it and be done with it, that way also you know you provide in excess of what they ask for and have a good sleep
CENOMAR is not on the Embassy's checklist requirements but when I applied for my Fiancee visa I also include it-its better to have more evidence that you are free to marry than less.If you want my opinion include it (apply it now for it will take 14 days).Good luck.
what? 14 days? im planning to submit on the 14th...
Don't bother to include it then as it not essential. As I said we certainly never needed one for either the Embassy or the CFO.

My fiancee Ladybug sim got her CENOMAR in a day, by just waiting several hours at the NSO.
i phone the NSO and they told me i can have it in seven working days...
I guess it probably varies from office to office, or how busy they are?......Good luck
I had someone work for me on this. Just prepared an authorization letter & a photocopy of my ID. Got it after seven (7) working days. I attached this document to legally support my claim on being single.
We included it in my application. I used agency so no worries for me. For some it would normally take 7 to 14 days. But if you are out of time dont bother

CENOMAR is not really on the Visa checklist, but it is also an additional requirements for ur application..the more documents/evidences you provided the better,Goodluck with ur application..
get a Cenomar... you will need it when you apply for marriage license anyway..
You won't if you get married in the UK...
If they dont have the seminar docs they will not get much further than Filipino immigration..
I dropped off a girl joining her husband in Japan at NAIA last year.. She texted me when I was half way home to go pick her up as they wouldn't let her fly..(no Cenomar clearance)
Immigration will look for a valid visa and if relevant a CFO stamp (which is the seminar doc).
A Cenemar (Certificate of No Marriage Record) would only be required if you get married in the Philippines.

when I applied my fiance visa we used an agency and the charged me 600php for cenomar. expensive huh!

when I got married here in the UK a couple of years ago they asked for my CENOMAR and my fiancee visa stamped on my passport..just got lucky I already had it since I applied for my visa application..
though am sure it still depends on the registry but there's no harm if you have it handy innit?

I think you are right. (unless the rules has change darren-b) Although I needed Cenomar for my court case but not when I applied for fiancee visa
