    Talking YAY!! Visa Approved!!

    Hello to everyone in this forum..I am Wina, Jonny's wife. He is at work today so he would not be able to announce this good news to all of you till he gets home. I have just received my Documents today and the first thing I checked was my Passport and there it is...My VISA I was on a HIGH today..I could not keep my tears from falling Finally the long wait is over.

    Lastly, I would like to thank everyone here in the forum for all the help and advice you've given us. To all the people still waiting for their Visa..keep the faith and HOPE alive..

    Once again..thank you to everyone!

    Yes..thank you! I already have my ticket booked. Leaving on the 14th of September with my husband. He will come on the 9th to pick me up I'm nervous and excited at the same time

    The Visa has come in such a perfect timing

    Jonny came online yesterday, hoping we could enlighten him as to the significance of the rather "non committal" text message you'd received from VFS. As it was worded exactly the same as the one sent to MY wife earlier this year, I was able to reassure him that your visa was on its way ... and would probably be in your hands within the next 2/3 days.

    However, its delivery has surpassed my expectations, and I'm delighted for you both. And even more so, because everything will now fit into place with your flight bookings and you'll be able to travel together after all.

    Im still waiting to my visa to arrive..im getting nervous now coz today our status has been proceed and return to courier...mmmmmmmmm hope its a positive result.

    her old passport is stapled to the new one. is it ok to remove it?

    NOT really such a silly question, Jonny ... being aware of some of the stupid rules that exist nowadays ...! I'm sure it would be okay to remove the staple. But then again, you never know ...

    she will get the CFO sticker on monday. we dont need anything else? She will get the x-ray just in case. when we arrive in london heathrow what normally happens? We have 4 hrs there before our flight to Belfast. I'm hoping it is enough time.

    its a good thing that she's going to have an xray to be sure..when u arrive in london heathrow, its just straight forward really and since u are going to travel with her am sure everything will be ok..
