    ILR application complicated or not?

    Hi guys,

I'm going to apply for my ILR soon but I don't know if we're going to include my daughter on my application.

We paid her visa to UK same amount as mine when we went here (UK), now that I'm going to apply for my ILR, we're not sure if she's going to be included as we're processing right now her UK passport, hopefully we will send it next week (i hope)

but if she gets her UK passport (hopingly) do i still need to put her on my application for ILR or no

she have her own visa we paid almost 50,000 pesos .... her visa is to join parent/s her dad (my hubby) here in UK.

so i'm kinda confuse if ever she will have a UK passport , if we have to put her name in my application for ILR but she's not dependent on me.

hope to hear from u guys to clear things and thanks a lot , cheers help appreciated

you will have to remind me tiggers0608, i think when your daughter was born you were not married ? but were married after.

you applied for a settlement visa for her instead of registering her and applying for a biritish passport for her at the british embassy in the phils?

yes i would include her on your visa app, becuase her visa might expire before she gets her biritsh passport, or there could be a problem with her getting a british passport, i think you have to pay an extra £50 for her to go as a dependant on your ILR app thou

Hi joe, thanks for the reply, yup she was born b4 me and hubby got married, and yep she got a settlement visa than british passport coz when i was going to apply her a brit passport at the british embassy in manila the lady there said i can't do that bcoz the father of the child have to be present there on the day of application.

ur right never thought of that, her visa might expired before she gets a brit passport,......... but if ever she get a brit passport b4 her visa expires what should we do then ? do i need to apply her for visa again or no bcoz she have a brit passport (if ever)? getting more complicated for me now

thanks for the reply joe , cheers

when are you applying for her passport ?
and when are you applying for your ilr ?

when you went to the post office, did they say you had to send your daughters pinoy passport with her app ?

apply for your daughters passport asap, you've got lots of time, and if there is a problem with getting her passport, which i doubt, apply for ilr with you in jan.

if she gets her passport, she doesn't need ilr
