No need to say sorry for your dyslexia... my bf has slight dyslexia too... I don't think having to spend only 2 weeks together would mean that you will be denied a visa. I would suggest that you still pursue applying for it. All you have to do is support it with the documents written on the VFS checklist and provide was was asked, especially the financial docs. I didn't ask the help of any visa consultancy.. just done it myself with loads of research and help from this site... coz of that, I got my fiancee visa in close to 11 weeks!

having been overdrawn doesnt look good, how many months have you had over £2000 in?

i kept £2000 in my bank but with other money i had upto £5000 in my account for the 6 months.

This is really welcome, thank you so much.
MY six months bank statements show a up and down movement of zero to 2000 on some statements. However on most is just a few hundred. I invested the money in cars to make profit on to help our visa. I thought they would understand if i explain ???? thank yuou so much.

    Thank you so much,
I think its my finances that wil let me down, the rest is pretty strong. It requirs 6 months payslips and bank statements. THe payslips are fine i have a good steady income. But i chose to use my savings and invest it in cars so that when i go to join my fiance i have enough for her visa and wedding. So my statements show a few hundred pounds going up and down for six months and when i piut the money back into my acvcount it will zoom to 4500.( not a lot hu lol )I have got an aranged overdraught of 1500 so i have diped into that a couple of times over the csix months toi. What do you think ?? Warm regards. kenny.

    I think

.. it would be a good idea if you explained this "business venture" (trading cars)
in greater detail in a seperate appendix/covering letter to the ECO.

I assume that if you are buying/selling the vehicles, then at some stage they
have been registered in your name ?
If so, is it possible to talk to the DVLC and get them to supply you with a
print out of your "account" over the last 12-18mnths ? ie car registered in
    your name / car "un"registered ?
This would give full supporting "evidence" of your alternate business venture,
and fully explain the swings in your bank statement.

The ECO purely needs to understand, to be comfortable .... so the more info
u give in your covering explaination, the easier for him to say "YES".

    Diy

Forget "consultants" or "agents". Keep the money in the bank rather where it will benefit your application rather some shark's bank balance.
There is a wealth of knowledge on the internet, and plenty of people willing to offer experienced advice. Turn to this rather than to some clown wanting to make a fast buck out of your desparation for a quick fix to what is a slow process.
Firstly, resist the temptation to want everything immediately and do not rush/bodge things to your detriment.Take it methodically one step at a time and make sure you do everything accurately and make a watertight case.

Concentrate on proving that you have a solid and loving relationship. They aren't too bothered about savings, but you will need a steady, reasonable and uninterrupted income; and bank statements showing a certain degree of control of your finances (for example, going to your overdraft briefly is only normal in the current climate -we arent all millionaires!- wheras huge debit card payments to a brewery or William Hills at the start of the month and living off your overdraft for the rest of it wont do you any favours!).

Sit yourself down and write yourself a list of what you must do. Put dates into this to give yourself a timetable. Then against every one of these dates make a checklist of the 'evidence' you must accumulate, the steps you must take and any costs involved...... Work on it like a little project, using the internet as research tool. And dont forget to save those emails, letters, chat logs and take regular photos with date-stamps.
Above all, don't panic or get stressed and shirty, it wont accomplish anything except putting a strain on that which you should be holding together. If your relationship is strong enough to make it through this whole process, you will make it through anything!
