It's good to have money and the things that money can buy, but it's good to check up once in a while to make sure you haven't lost the things that money can't buy.

I have been to Angeles a few times, avoid certain places,Fields Avenue we used to call "Blow Row" because of certain establishments where the game of "Smiles" was renown

Sometimes you're flush and sometimes you're bust, and when you're up, it's never as good as it seems, and when you're down, you never think you'll be up again. But life goes on.
The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the passion that she shows to the outside world.

She lives near Cacatud, the EPZA area. I think I will probably stay in a hotel downtown.

She has recently moved there from somewhere else in AC and she is finding it hard to find internet cafe nearby with webcam - any ideas?

    Hi Ian,

I know the place where she is right now as much as u can be careful in that area as it is quite bad for snatchers. And she's right it is quite hard to get an internet cafe in her place. Im not sure about the trasportation, but the nearest place i can think will be the village called Marisol or Mountain View

You will find loads of Hotel downtown, some of them are really nice, u can try ABC Hotel, it is quite expensive but really worth it

And it is an hour away to Subic

    Goodluck!

Thanks. EPZA does sound quite bad - I understand it was built to house refugees from Pinatubo? My gf rarely goes out, although she is happy with her home.

I really want to get her here as soon as possible but as I have posted before, we are going through annulment for her. This seems to be proceeding OK and with luck complete later this year. Then all we have to do is get married, get visa, and get her over here. Easy, huh?!

She has not worked in bars before, but she is currently unable to find work so I am supporting her.

    Thanks for your replies.

Stay with your mahal at all times ok!

Key places I would say. A nice hotel is Oasis. There is a jeepney terminal that I used alot on Manuel Highway. Filipino nickname it CHECKPOINT. This is required to get back and forward to some of the subdivision in the west. Checkpoint is always busy with the jeepney and people. You can get to the SM Mall easily from here. Nice place, has a cinema inside too. You will probably get most of your shopping there.

Checkpoint is in front of the old military base, which is called clark economic zone. There is a lovely swimming pool there. It is obviously americanized and spotless inside there. The subdivision is where some ex pats and Filipino live.

Ian I hope this map helps you get familiar with the place.

    Angeles City google map

Note that Angeles City itself is not near the SM Mall. Your mahal will tell you are at Nepo Mall you are in Angeles. Nepo Mall and Dau savers mall are good value if you are after different food have a look. Oh yeah and buy a torch. There are lack of street lights anywhere. Unsettling..
