Plus, I often get the feeling that a few of these people are in fact the same person masquerading as a new character designed just to wind up the regulars! I know the mods can see IP addresses but it is easy to get a new one, along with a new Google email address. .

It is not as hard to spot as you think, years of experience flags them up. Simple & obvious things as well give them away, attitude, grammar, spelling, you can't change them, plus a lot of other things I won't mention
