    Aye, right enough... Should have thought of that.. with the rain and the cold winds blowing about.. it;s awful wet and draughty up here whilies (not sure about that) That's why I;m stamping my feet

    Tin, you're 99.9% correct with your translation! "Whilies" simply means "once in a while" or "from time to time".

    Full marks for effort & well done ... you'll soon be speaking in the same way as a native Scot [like Paul]
