@darren-b:uhm..about the guidelines,yes im aware they'll know about it.im just concerned because if a diff eco will have to assess the docs,there might be a diff flaw observed when the first is resolved.(hope not).but im aware of the hours of work,i will study really-coz i want to land a good job in UK-do u think that would be possible? My family got my expenses covered-school fees,allowances 'til i could support myself(hopefully). Im just really really glad we didnt have to loan the money we used in my applic'n.the news of my refusal could have been devastating.

Your problem is that even if the same ECO assessed the docs he could find a different flaw as he might look into something in more detail. All you can do is make sure your application is as perfect as you can make it.

I think you've only really got one option for switching into a work visa after you've completed your course and that is to a Sponsored skilled workers visa (Tier 2). This will tie you to one employer, and I believe once the new rules get implemented you will only be able to remain in the UK for a limited number of years on this visa. Your problem is to get this type of visa certain requirements need to be met including the employer offering you a job being licensed to do.
