My family got my expenses covered-school fees, allowances 'til i could support myself(hopefully). Im just really really glad we didnt have to loan the money we used in my applic'n.the news of my refusal could have been devastating.

*darren-b,what are you in the forum for?
Your problem is that even if the same ECO assessed the docs he could find a different flaw as he might look into something in more detail. All you can do is make sure your application is as perfect as you can make it.

I think you've only really got one option for switching into a work visa after you've completed your course and that is to a Sponsored skilled workers visa (Tier 2). This will tie you to one employer, and I believe once the new rules get implemented you will only be able to remain in the UK for a limited number of years on this visa. Your problem is to get this type of visa certain requirements need to be met including the employer offering you a job being licensed to do.

I'm in this forum as I have a general interest in the Philippines and the immigration system. I'm British and my wife is Fil/Brit so we don't worry about visas ourselves anymore, though as you can probably guess my wife has got family who would.
