I'd been going to say, "Same Day Service" ... but you've gone one better ...

... that is, if you can GET any better! How about striking a happy medium with 'Visas While-U-Wait'?

Babykie star you really have started something here. My wife (pumpkins) and I will together for a month in October.
The plan was, was to apply visa on our third day then go to Puraran for the remainder.

It now looks like there is a big chance she could be flying back to her new home with me!

1 DAY!! Wow, Congratulations for both of you and have a safe trip to UK
It's good to have money and the things that money can buy, but it's good to check up once in a while to make sure you haven't lost the things that money can't buy.

Has the BritEmb got nothing to do this past few weeks? Seems like we have plenty of members here who have received their visas. Wow! 1 day visa processed seems a breaking record of the British EMbassy's history.. lol..

Well, Congrats to you Chuckie and the rest of the members who have received their visas.

    My congratulations

... but have to agree with Marbell.

This nonsense they've been feeding us for months / years about doing local
checks, and that's what's been slowing things down, is exactly that ...

    NONSENSE !

Those people who waited 15-17 weeks must be seething

Just a little bit BB, we've been waiting "only" 17 f weeks
What makes me wonder is how did they managed to clear that backlog so totally in just a month after our approval so they are issuing the visa "while you wait" now
