When To Post a Small Parcel So That it Reaches Phils In time For Christmas??

    Hi guys,

I'm thinking about sending a small package to Davao as a Christmas gift.
I want to make sure it gets there in time for Christmas.
It's not going to by a large box, just a parcel, maybe the size of a shoe box.

    1) When do you think I should post it to make sure it gets from UK to Phils in time for Christmas?

    2) As it's going to be a small parcel, would posting it normal airmail from the local Post Office be cost effective?

    Thanks in advance......

Hi Shoes, try to take at the link below maybe it will give you some answers - you can get a quote from them as well.
For some reason I wouldn't trust Royal Mail (resp. Philippines Mail) too much in this...

1 I would say October at the latest. Some provinces take longer than a month. But Davao is big city so should be ok

    2) Normal airmail is what I use. Your local postoffice parcels charge the fee for small packet airmail. These are usually about A4 size, nothing too heavy in them. I send to Jessica using this. Exact price is this:

    Weight 0.985 kg was £12.25

Make sure it is under 2kilos.
It's time to kick ass and chew bubble gum. And I'm all out of gum.

Fedex is similar price to the Parcelforce, and can be delivered to the house or collected from the local distribution place (I know they have some of the places inside the malls).
Takes around 3-5 days as it goes UK - Germany - Hong Kong - Manila - Regional Office

Interparcel packages are actually delivered by DHL and can even be tracked on the DHL website, but Interparcel charges much less than DHL.

Not sure about internationally but I've had some comical service in the UK from them
