... Going back in the 'mists of time' [circa 1959/60] a song I always remember from my mid-teenage years is: "What Did Delaware Boy?" ... cleverly-composed words ... that appealed to me ... and a catchy tune, too!! American (obviously!) but, for the life of me, can't remember who wrote and/or sang it ...

    I'll start with a few:

    Outkast "Hey Ya!"
The Police "Every Little Thing She Does is Magic"
    Stereophonics "Have a Nice Day"

When I'm feeling down, I enjoy listening to Rancid's "Ruby Soho", The Offspring's "One Fine Day", anything by NOFX (hilarious band!) and of course Madness (any song really). The punk/ska styles of music always get me feeling upbeat.

(Sittin' on) the Dock of the Bay - Otis Redding (I know it is a sad song but it chills me out )
Can You Feel It - The Jacksons

Don't make promises when you are in JOY. Don't reply when you are SAD.
Don't take decisions when you are ANGRY. Think twice, Act wise. BE happy.
