    i am the hubby no we are now planning to apply on 17th oct for spousal visa. would have been next week but bank has been dragging its feet on a bank statement i need

    we're on the same boat here whiteraven! my husband's been waiting for the updated bank statement too! I will be lodging my application around the same week as your wifey.

    better get some pointers from you and all as me and ma baby boo is gonna apply fiance visa hopefully next..or ist it more easier to get married here back home and get a spouse visa???

    from the advice given here, its easier to apply for a spouse visa. I'd be happy to give you some pointers when its time for you to apply.

    it will be more expensive if you get married in the UK, i think! besides, it will be nice if you have your family and friends during your wedding right?
    or you can keep it simple like a civil wedding....

    we went the civil wedding route..

    really,ma man wants to have a big wedding here but im more practical,like to keep it simple...I'd go for civil wedding first then save up and maybe after a year or two have our dream beach wedding,,,

    the consensus is a spousal visa is the easier route and certainly cheaper
