due to they said i will not be able to support her and they say that there is not enough proof that my savings may be spent lol
also that on the application we made mistake she put we see each other every day they took it as in the flesh we meny on cam lol
do you work ? how much savings did you show on your bank statements ?
how long have you known each other and how many times have you met ?
where did you appeal to , phils or uk ?

we first met on the net in march 2008 i stayed with her in cebu for 2 weeks in aug 2008 the date for visa to come in was aug 2009 when i took holiday for her to get ere, im electrician in full time work my bank account was in red at that time but ive thousands in savings on a savings plan account which i can get at any time
being in the red on your current account seems to affect the decision more than the savings.
overdrawn not a good idea, how can you suupport her and pay for flight, wedding, etc when your overdrawn?.. you should have put some of your savings in your current account..
an appeal process could take upto 6 months or even longer, always worth a try asking the ECO at the embassy to reconsider your visa app.
You don't need a solicitor to appeal. You just correct the mistakes you made in the first one. It's free!

that may be so but the appeal form blew my head wen i saw it so i get sol to do it because they dont belive us and we are sick of waiting to be together now
Did you not have any "show money" borrowed to make it look like you had plenty of savings?
Joe, or others who can help::
how much should one show in current account statements to be enough?
thx
ive appealed through solicitor a immagration solicitor supplied by welsh immagration gov group
swayze noone is blaming you or attacking your motives, just telling you how it is. i havent seen my wife since we were married last december as getting savings put away was the only way to be assured of a favourable outcome on our application. you will find the advice given by here by most members is better than you may get on the official websites. all the best on your appeal
some people have managed to get a visa with no savings - but its better to reduce any risks of refusal as much as possible, by not sending overdrawn bank statements and having at least £2,000+ in the bank should get you thru the finance part. also you need to show you have a genuine relationship and for somewhere for her to live without overcrowding
so you appealled in the uk ?
no one is blaming you or anyone
how many bankstatements were overdrawn ?
you may well win an appeal but if the ECO doesn't overturn it, you could be waiting a long time , could be as long as 6 months..
might be quicker to re-apply and cheaper if your paying a solicitor !
yes i appealed in the uk its quicker.by getting solicitor i think they ave more weight than i alone also we cant muck it up this way
look guys its not nice wen you start blaming each other for the reasons of rejection we love each other very much without doubt to each other and to see the women your going to marry cry it kills you so i need help to get her in my harms
Ahh cool, so in the 6 month bank statements I need to produce, just make sure they're at least 2k in credit? Ok cool, got that safely tucked away in the forefront of my brain
salamat Joe!
that last bit sounds like a really good bit of advice from Joe. Don't pay solicitor. Jig your savings around, research and submit new application. Save you time and money
Hi Swayze sounds to me if you have plenty of money in the bank and now your savings and incomings would easily support your wife so she is not a burden on the State when she moves over to the UK. Cancel the appeal and submit a new application it will cost but possibly be far quicker im thinking than waiting for an appeal.
Basically in the application your trying to say look we are in love, we are geniune and have met in person, I can look after her in suitable accomdation and support her with ease.
Oh lord why did you make so many clothes and shoe shops
As others have already said, overdrawn bank statements are a big no no. You need to show that, on paper, over a six month period you are solvent, ie more going in than coming out on most of the monthly bank statements. You don't mention whether you submitted evidence of you savings account as well, but if not, this is also something that would help a lot.
You may think that you are solvent, and given what you have said about your savings, I would probably agree, but the ECO would make his/her decision based on the evidence you sumbit and if the evidence he/she is given gives the impression that you are living beyond your means because you are regularly overdrawn, then he/she will normally decide that you probably won't be able to support your fiancee in the UK without recourse to public funds.
Iain.
i don't know about cancelling it, you might as well sort your bank statements out and see if your refusal is overturned b4 it goes to AIT, if its not overturned nothing to stop you getting ready to apply for a fresh fiancee visa with stronger evidence and good bank statements, then if you've not heard anything from your appeal and your ready for a fresh app, apply for a fiancee visa again then cancel your appeal.
Good point dont you have a small amount of time to appeal to the ECO your self? Before it goes to AIT.
So if your still in that timeframe it maybe a fairly quick process from what i have seen it seems its less hassle for the eco to approve rather than deny as less paperwork and effort in the long run
Oh lord why did you make so many clothes and shoe shops
