looking at your overdrawn bank statements doesn't show that...
have you appealled yet ? if so where ?

£2,000+ would help with no or hardly any overdrawn bank statements, also showing your not sepnding more than you earn !

swayze noone is blaming you or attacking your motives, just telling you how it is. i havent seen my wife since we were married last december as getting savings put away was the only way to be assured of a favourable outcome on our application. you will find the advice given by here by most members is better than you may get on the official websites. all the best on your appeal

    salamat Joe!
some people have managed to get a visa with no savings - but its better to reduce any risks of refusal as much as possible, by not sending overdrawn bank statements and having at least £2,000+ in the bank should get you thru the finance part. also you need to show you have a genuine relationship and for somewhere for her to live without overcrowding

so you appealled in the uk ?
no one is blaming you or anyone

how many bankstatements were overdrawn ?

you may well win an appeal but if the ECO doesn't overturn it, you could be waiting a long time , could be as long as 6 months..

might be quicker to re-apply and cheaper if your paying a solicitor !

i wouldn't bank on it swayze that your appeal will be dealt with quicker. based on my experience we did the same and we waited and waited until we got fed up. my sols then rang embassy and they said once an appeal is lodged in uk it's already beyond their control, they said it could take weeks, mos etc. so they said it's either we wait or file another app and we chose the latter; to be frank w/ you it was the best decision i've made. i'm not saying this would apply to you but i'm just citing myself as an example. and i was laughing when i already got my visa and i was in the uk when the tribunal (for my first appeal) from uk wrote a letter when in fact i have lodged in a new app and got denied, appealed at the embassy/eco and granted visa. moral of my story? if you can sort it out in the phils do it because it surely worked on me and it did shortened my waiting period. good luck
