The european property market is a risk, do you seriously think that anybody with cash in these days would want to put it into property in the philippines....

I think it would be nice to buy a place in the Phils, and I understand it would be in my wife's name.
If the man is older than the wife, it is security for her (and her children if they have any) when the husband is no longer around.

I have thought about this and will probably buy later.
