visit and tourest visa

guys wats the diff between visit and tourest visa
i thought i might get my girl one of these while we waited
also i heard that it is easier to get it from singapore or somwere like that

There are phases people use to refer to the same thing, which is a General visitor visa (for tourists) or a Family visitor visa (for visiting relatives).

If she was living in Singapore it might be slightly easy to apply for one, but it's no good her going to Singapore for a holiday to apply for one.
