    Current account and savings?

Im just wondering if i have done the right thing with my current account. I have savings there of about 3000. After each month this increases slightly and unfortunately i have never tranfered to a savings account. Do you think its a requirement to show a seperate savings account rather than it sitting in my current account. Whatever is left after each month is like saved in the final balance.

At this stage i dont really want to transfer now as tooo near to my wife going to apply her visa. I hope i havent made a mistake not doing this?

what 6 account statements are you sending for the visa?

just keep enough in that one,to show your incoming and out going.

do what ever you like with any other saving you have, just give the details of all your saving for the visa.
i have learnt to do what my wife says!

hello nagain and thanks for your reply. I was just stating that i dont transfer any monies to a savings account to show. I have been just leaving in my normal current account. The remaining balance each month after all bills is normally what is saved amount.

Try INGDIRECT, they allow you to move it back and forward easily. Only takes 3 days when you move it. They do not penalise you if you take it out, which is nice...err that wasn't rude was it..

Yeh, that would be about right

I would also suggest, write a covering letter explaining that your savings are included in these current account statements, and you're

Exactly the same in my case
Every day we tell this to people here in the Philippines (they still don't believe it thought that a whitey can be poor-ish

I just ask them, how many hundred-thousand peso are you in debt right now? They laugh and say something like "I owe 500 peso to my Ate". I'm like, I owe 250 thousand peso to Visa!

    LoLz!

I'll fix all that up very soon though when I am working in the U of K again

yes i entirely agree with you. I do find the average filipino thinks UK is the pot of GOLD. I have explained to my wife wehen shes here she will soon see its just money and that dont grow on trees either. Yet i do undertsnad the sacrifices that filipinos have to live with and a different life too

    no don't transfer anything
it will look suspicious, large amounts of money being transfered,
its ok in your current account
