haha, it seems some places in the Philippines are a world onto themselves.

We got stuck with a jobsworth in the LGO!

the difference is that as a married man you got to spend a LOADA dosh on the wifey!

Plus, you'll be expected to help with the family.

Plus, if you want to have home comforts it's an initial outlay right there.

    I'm just glad it's past!

It'll be worth it after you get married though.

Looks to me...the judge is the fast track. But how do I know that the marriage is legal, and binding. I don't want to get found out the guy was dodgy and married many people wrong!

then you got the endless expenses for weddings, paper work, flights to embassy, hotel etc etc

which is a legitimate fear when we're talking about Philippines.

even when you are married it will still be in her name - which is cool, coz you got somewhere to live. Excellent. Do you have a fridge, tv, etc there?

it would have to be in her name you are not allowed to own a home or business in your name.

    yeah, it's horrible.

most places don't have AC (at least here in neg or). so I just smell like a sweaty baboy in there.

I am so glad that torture is over, and I feel for Swayse!

technically, you can own a business, but only 49% or something.

But, you can do what you want if you employ 10 filipinos or something like that

I feel for swayse or feel like you sway over and fall over cos you sweaty?

I wonder, I think keep it simple. Filipinos would probably want absolutely everyone at the ceremony, including the garden gnomes for food, dancing and everything.

Sometimes you're flush and sometimes you're bust, and when you're up, it's never as good as it seems, and when you're down, you never think you'll be up again. But life goes on.
The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the passion that she shows to the outside world.

It can probably be done in a month, but if you go at Christmas time it's less certain with holidays etc to consider.
