This sounds very alarming. But how about a letter to them. Write to them and tell them what's you really need to tell. Sometimes, it's too hard to explain it personally especially if you're bothered, nervous, and confused. There are some spaces at the back of your application, you can explain to them whole heartedly. Tell them the story. This time no more lies.
