I just got a letter from HO saying that they'll be sending my identity card within 7 working days. I also got all my documents..
Thank you guys...

Next thing to do : N.I. bank account, gather some letters...

Hi Rubix Congratulations....may i ask how did yo go for applying FLR?? Got some suggestions from other members already on this site,but still need more advices, as i will be getting married by January 2010 and my passport will expire on Aug 2010, hope you can give me some ideas what to do after the wedding and apply for FLR.Hope you don't mind. Thank you.

Hello there evo76! I just post the flr application and waited for 2 1/2 months..So, apply for flr before ur fiancee visa expires, say post it a month before it expires..When will it expire? As for ur passport, u need to renew it to phil embassy in london for appearance. It will take 4-6 weeks. Here's the link http://philembassy-uk.org/consular_P...formation.html
I'll also have to renew it on 2012..So, I still have time to sort it out...I'll cross the bridge when I get there...
Hmm so there u go, u can just apply for flr, hope u can get it before ur passport expires coz they will not stamped passports now for flr--just u'll get an identity card..So it will be OK..But if ur visa expiration is closer to ur passport expiration, just renew ur passport coz flr might take 2-6 months, it depends..

Anyway, its just my idea, I know other members here know more than me..
So jst keep posting..Enjoy in the forum
