    Question bank loan

Hi, i need some advice of what to do. My fiance is thinking of having loan from the bank, he said it will be use for our wedding so he wont have to withdraw some money from his savings. You think it would be wise to do that?

it might be a good idea not to touch his savings until you have your visa, no large transactions showing up on his bank statements and non overdrawn

are you getting married in the phils or uk ? if the phils i would get a loan, so his savings are untouched.
depends how much savings he has also ..

We are getting married here in the Philippines on January. I told him that he needs to have a good bank records for 6 months for the sake of my future application.
He is worried that we might be needing a large amount of money for the wedding. So he thinks getting some loan from the bank would help- then he won't have to take some money off from his savings.

I would rather use a credit card, the rates may not be as advantageous as a bank loan, but the bonus is that you can pay cash over the counters and it won't show as extra expenditures on the current accounts.

And once the visa is obtained, just pay the lot in one go.
