Which is why I have followed your story with interest ... even though this is the first actual contact we've had with one another. Thankfully, each of us has found renewed happiness in meeting - and ultimately, marrying - a lovely Filipino lady. By another curious coincidence, MY wife Myrna, is from Davao too.
I would, therefore, like to take this opportunity to wish Maria well when she attends the CFO seminar tomorrow [in Cebu?] and also the very best of luck to both of you with her forthcoming Spouse Visa application on Wednesday. Recent results indicate processing is being carried out much faster these days, and if the current trend continues (which I hope it WILL) then I would expect the two of you to be together again long before Xmas.
No worries about CFO - it is more annoyance than anything else I think

phoned the wife, she says she took the cfo seminar without any problems. didnt have to sit through any propaganda film or silly questions. will keep you all posted after her visa application on wednesday
good luck i know how you feel i hate it when annabel is in manila i slepp better when i know shes at her momas .. a point of interest if she has been called for interview at the embassy she will probably get visa same day !

So that it can strenghten her application, and prove there's nothing left to do but book a flight to england (I would think)

thank you all i will keep you posted when we here something, and i know there are others applying this month to. and lovejoy, as she had to fly to manila for the visa application why not do cfo at the same time? all she has to do is get her cfo stamped after the visa is granted before flying here.
