Sometimes you're flush and sometimes you're bust, and when you're up, it's never as good as it seems, and when you're down, you never think you'll be up again. But life goes on.
The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the passion that she shows to the outside world.

Yeah, no place like home as they say....My hubby loves tagaytay when i brought him there a couple of times before....
And the weather is cold there so he won't struggle with the heat unlike in the city (las pinas) where i live....
So tagaytay is a place worth considering in the future
But that's still a long long way ahead, plans could still change...We'll see where we end up by then

this is a very nice thread hoping that it will not come to a point of comparing UK and Phil (like night and day) again as it causes friction. Considering that most of us Pinays here are married to Brit it shows a "bond" taking our relationship as an example. What brought us here to UK (for those who are in a relationship/engaged or married to Brit) is love and simply by taking a vow we promised to be with them till death so Phil or UK as long as together it really doesnt matter.
I wish everyone a good day.
If it's not life threatening IGNORE it .. .

Hello pumpkins! How are you? Haven't heard from you from the last.
Yes, I am totally with you and we share the same thoughts and sentiments. Anywhere is okay, but time will come when we will have to face the reaity of old age. And when that time comes - we should know where.
This thread is in preparation for those nearing retirement ...

Hello again jaishann! Thank you for your comment. I do not wish that on this thread. I am not comparing UK/PHILIPPINES here. I am trying to draw out your feelings being married to Brit/Filipinos and where will you go/stay when retirement is looming. Have you ever thought about it? Yes, it doesn't matter where, but sooner or later we will have to choose one, where we will live and stay permanently. What is the ideal place when you come to the age - where you are no longer capable?
I wanna buy an island in pinas(beach house on a fine white sand, crystal blue waters and a massive boat or yatch) and jst grow old there with ma man...hehehe

Hello again queenbee! I didn't realise you had posted one before mine... Yes, I would love to be in a place like that ... Where you exactly right now? Sorry, I didn't follow your threads ... it's wee hours here now ... bed is calling. Till later okay? Bye for now. God bless!
Hello Sophie! Yeah, I agree with you. I only have two choices and both tawi2 and JH mentioned something else.. I would like to stick to the title and would like to stick to the topic.
I know a few who are nearly retiring and faced with the dilemma. One couple I know sad, wife will go back home, husband will stay here in UK. I do not want that to imagine.
And, I can see that BB is sharing her professorial level of logical deduction. Tawi said Spain - OK, that's a tick in the "UK" column!
Chill out chick, first of all, this could be a poll ...
secondly, I posted my facetious response just to post the picture. I'm 27, ask me about retirement in 35-40 years from now!
And, please laugh, and read my sig![]()
