What brought us here to UK (for those who are in a relationship/engaged or married to Brit) is love and simply by taking a vow we promised to be with them till death so Phil or UK as long as together it really doesnt matter.

I agree completely, what's important is you're together, be it in uk or philippines or some place else, as long as its a mutual decision of the couple

Hello pumpkins! How are you? Haven't heard from you from the last.
Yes, I am totally with you and we share the same thoughts and sentiments. Anywhere is okay, but time will come when we will have to face the reaity of old age. And when that time comes - we should know where.

This thread is in preparation for those nearing retirement ...

Hello liane! Thank you for sharing. We have the thoughts, anywhere will do. But as we all come to that - retirement ... it would be worth thinking about it this early, so we can prepare for it, perhaps saving more ...

Hello pumpkins! Yeah, great to know what you are up to. That is one good break! I do like scrabble as well. Well, who know, maybe one day icome and visit both of you when that time comes. It is a bit too early to think of retirement when you are just starting. It is just worth knowing. All the best and maybe we meet up here?

Hello again Sophie! Yeah, agree with you there. But you got to choose one only. God willing, if we all reach the age 60's or 80s where it would be hard to travel, where would you rather be?
