Rather six months in one and six months in the other. Why have one when you can have both. The Wife loves Phill, but Loves much of her life in the UK. The other intresting fact is how many newcommers to a country always say they will go home where ever home is and in the end, end up staying in the country they moved to for various reasons. Also those who know they will go home have you children or planing to have them in the UK? From experience that seems to change plans for many.
