Quite a few indians in Pinas Jim doing 5-6,strange thing is they often wind up dead I even met some lending cash in the boonies in Mindanao

Sometimes you're flush and sometimes you're bust, and when you're up, it's never as good as it seems, and when you're down, you never think you'll be up again. But life goes on.
The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the passion that she shows to the outside world.

but some of the moaning is because of some people taking the , i watched UK border force the other night, one 'student' was working 20 hrs a week at as-da and he had another part time job at willie hill, he was working 40 hrs a week, so he was not a student, so that was 2 jobs a Brit could have been doing, in another program they raided a Chinese take away, the 'student' guy was outside, he had just drove from London (think it was 150miles ? sure ) to see his student visa dependent wife - who owned the take away , the guy had been a student for 6 yrs

tards I hate the 5-6 ers with a vengeance.

I don't care if they are Pinoy or foreign they are the lowest of the low, only marginally above Western Union ( )

They deserve whatever happens to them I guess the locals don't like the competition

These parasites are one aspect of Pinoy culture that I absolutley abhor.!!!!!!

I take your point Joe but Andy's point is valid too, yes we are one of the rich countries that is being taken advantage of just now but the Phils experiences similar issues and the locals there feel the same way.

Globalisation is a big issue everywhere!

I have noticed here that British are picky. I worked with seafood factories and most workers are from Portugal Poland and Russia and very few british.
I asked my hubby why, he said the place stinks.

The Chinese are probably some of the most active entrepreneurs in the Philippines just now, Koreans are widely despised but they bring in a lot of cash, not seen many Indians (wish I could get a good curry in Manila :( )
We have China Town in Pinas in Binondo. It's home of Bigtime Chinese entrepreneurs. Gold, dry goods, chinese food business.

I've been to Binondo a few times Penny, had a really really nice Chinese meal there last March when we were out looking for outfit's for everyone for an upcoming wedding.

Really didn't realise that the Indians specialised in the 5-6 absolute parasitical business, should be made illegal!

I like Binondo, Chinese foods there are really nice.
Try fresh Beef noodles there. It is made of fresh noodles not the dried one.
Siopao Asado there is superb delicious.
    Hopia Ube is yummy.

The only thing I have noticed, all bosses chinese, all maids are pinays. Good for them, they are enjoying low labor cost and good income. Hao Fang!

Yeah , yeah the monkey git gets to me at some idiotic quips at work, General mad dogdeserves his place in Philippine HIstory infamy and of course, we have been fighting to get the Balinga bells back from the Army HEadquartes in Carolina I think............

but to explain, there are so many things that are shared between American and Philippine Culture, sadly, more than the UKs.

    1. Basketball is regarded a NAtional past time and obsession, cant find any basketball teams here in the UK except Luol Dengs team England, if, whennever they play

2.We grew up calling trucks truck, we only found out they were called lorrys here when we moved

3 We are tied in history in that the Americansgave us education and the 3 rs

In defence of the UK, my wife and I are the last batch of Pinoy Nurses that will be given
British Passports, I thank the UK for accepting many Pinoy Families when America gave us Mt everest to climb before granting anythin, I have a pending US Petition as well, my parents have just moved back to the Philipines, they lived in the States for 12 years, but I only got to see them a few weeks at a time in the past 12 years as logistics and papers are an issue, until I get my Brit passport in 2011, si thank you UK for that

    4. THE NHS, its still being debated in the US congress now if healthcare will be reformed, my wife has diabeted and without the NHS, a huge chunk of our money will be to medical bills and meds

5 We grew up eating to NEstle, we just heard of, tasted cadburys when friends bring some back from europe

6 We grew up with Sesame st, the younger generation here now watch CBeebies
