    Back home.......

I would like to thank everyone for their genuine concern, and the warm wishes extended to my family and myself for a speedy recovery.

I was discharged from hospital earlier today, and just got home.

Presently I feel great, and looks like I will have to take things a bit easier for the rest of my life.
At the moment I face 6/8 weeks of intense boredom, not allowed to do anything but "relax"...

I have been given a long list of medicines, and tons of advice, and with a bit of effort in following the instructions, I will be around for a long time to come.

    Again, thanks, everyone.

    Smile

Take it easy mate -listen to what the docs say.

My mum had her heart attack 10 years ago and after the event - changing her diet - taking her medicine - taking it easy - etc.etc.. she says that she has never felt better.

Welcome back - why don't you celebrate by banning a few people.

Welcome home, Dom. I'm sure I speak for everyone here when I mention how much we've missed your humorous posts ...

... it's good to know you're feeling so well after your scare. I'd a fright myself in February 2008 when I had to undergo emergency surgery to clear a severe blockage in my left carotid artery in order to eliminate the high risk of it causing a stroke. But, like you, I'm feeling A1 now ... and, MY only "penance" is being required to take an 80mg Simvistatin capsule each night and one dispersible asprin tablet in the monings for the rest of my life. So no real hardship ...

... do just that ... RELAX! And leave the "bannings" to someone else for a while ... :lol2:

    Again, thanks, everyone.
... you'll cope [even without the bacon butties!]. It's a struggle ... I know ... having (in MY case) grudgingly had to chuck out my deep fat fryer ...

    Take care, mate.

Calmness and tranquilityThats what lifes all about,be content,no more banning people, just smile and shrug it all off,see......your feeling better already Glad your out of hospital

Sometimes you're flush and sometimes you're bust, and when you're up, it's never as good as it seems, and when you're down, you never think you'll be up again. But life goes on.
The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the passion that she shows to the outside world.

God grant me the serenity to accept the things i cannot change, the courage to change the things i can and the wisdom to hide the bodies of those people i had to kill because they pissed me off.

it wasn't the hospital food that made Dom leave hospital so quick, but he was having withdrawal symptoms from not banning anyone
