Portsmouth have been banned from making any new signings until they settle transfer debts owed to other English clubs.

Ok, maybe the transfer window may be closed for Chelsea, but I reckon that with a little of home economics and good management, it won't affect us in the long term too much.

The available 1st team is "slightly" oversized as it is, then we have all the other players out on loan to other clubs, which could be recalled at some kind of notice.

So, in my view, Ancellotti, has a huge list of select players to draw from, to be used for different occasions.

So while everybody else will be running around shopping, close to having a coronary because of the fear of losing the chosen player to some other club, Ancellotti will be concentrating on managing.
