Is there any differences between the job as domestic helper and nanny? I just accepted an offer as a nanny of a Canadian family who has been seconded to UK. Is the visa application requirement the same as domestic helper?

It is the same thing - "As a domestic worker you provide a personal service linked to the running of your employer's household. Domestic workers include chauffeurs, gardeners, cooks and nannies".
Have you met the family? Or have they just offered you a job over the internet. If you have not met the family in person there is a very good chance that it is a scam and they will request that you send money to pay for your visa processing (and then they will disappear with your money...).
... I echo Darren's concerns.
If this job was offered to you via the internet .... then I'm tempted to say it's a scam.
If the family are in HK, and you've met them, then it's likely to be genuine.

... perhaps some of it relates closely to the job offer you've received.
If it's too good to be true .... it usually isn't.
