you could get the kangkong in tesco. for the fresh shrimp, if you are near billings gate, you could get it from there.

we have bananas here and also shrimps?

why not take her to the local supermarket and show her some other foods, because we may not have that exact food but a close alternative.
i have learnt to do what my wife says!

There's tiger prawns, dried fish and malunggays(frozen) at filipino store. Where do you stay? Which raw bananas?
Saba? I can't find it here that's why my luggage was full of saba bananas and mangoes when I arrived here weeks ago.

They only throw them in the bin if you get caught, unlike the US where they execute you ...... the wife was sentenced for a banana

It's all down to how you define 'personal use' http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/customs/banned-restricted.htm#2

You aren't allowed ANY meat or fish though.

lots of kangkong in chinese shops, indian and pinoy stores. i get the small bananas from an indian store here and they are exactly like what we have back home if she likes saba she can try plantain its just as good. dried fish u can buy from any asian stores, normally from thailand.
