i think it would be helpful for us to know what sort of interview but maybe those questions depends of each scenario..
i still would appreciate if anyone post here about interview
CRITICIZING OTHERS IS A DANGEROUS THING, NOT SO MUCH BECAUSE YOU MAY MAKE MISTAKES ABOUT THEM, BUT BECAUSE YOU MAY BE REVEALING THE TRUTH ABOUT YOURSELF.

I copy and paste these words from a website:

    http://www.british-filipino.com/settlement2.html

These are the questions I can recall.

    Opening Questions

    * Your Full name Please ?
    * In what language do you wish to be interviewed in ?
    * Please tell me right away if you do not understand anything
    * Are you fit and well to be interviewed today ?
    * Who completed your application form ? (she may say her husband/partner helped)
    * Are you satisfied that all your answers in the application form are correct ?

    Visa Related Questions
    * Is this your first application for a UK Visa ?
    * Have you ever applied for a visa to another country.?
    * Have you ever been refused a visa ?
    * Is this your first visit overseas ?
    * Is this your first and only passport ?
    * How long do you intend to stay in the United Kingdom ?
    * Why do you want to go to the UK ? I want to be with my husband.
    * What are you going to do in the UK? I answered, I am going to take care of my husband. I am also considering of working and studying.

    Meeting Questions

    * When did you first meet your husband/Fiance ? How did you meet your husband/Fiance ?
    * Did you stay with him when you met ?
    * So how long did you live with him or stay with him ?
    * Did he write or call you, How have you communicated ?

    Accomodation Questions

    * Where do you live ?
    * Where are you going to live in the UK?
    * How big is your husband's apartment?

    Financial Questions

    * What does your husband/fiance do for his job ?
    * Do you know how much money he earns ?
    * Does he send you any money for your expenses ?

    General Questions

    * What are the things you like to do together?
    * What are your Fiance/husbands hobbies? What does he do in his spare time ?
    * Why did you marry him after being together for only a week, such a fast decision ?
    * What do you like most about him ?
    * What are the real reasons that you married him ?
    * Where is his family living?
    * Have you met his family? (tell their names, elaborate, you may say you keep in touch with them also)
    * What is his shoe size?
    * What is his eye colour?

That's how my interview ended. He asked me to go out for 5 mins then he called me again to inform me that he'll grant me a visa. I applied for family permit.

    Cheers

One thing though is that unlike in the past when they interviewed everyone, they now only tend to interview you if they have an issue with your application. So there may well be quite a few questions around the 'issue'.

That seems to be correct now, although the CFO do ask a few questions before granting you a ticket.
My fiancee was asked for photos as well by CFO. She was lucky to have 1 in her purse, as it wasnt on the requirements list and she would have needed to attend a second time if she didnt have 1 with her.

    interview for spouse settlement visa

hi im maria, im just new here in the forum and would like to seek your help, i am a fililipino-british citizen and currently applying for my husbands settlement visa, we sent his application thru vfs on the 26th of march and he received a phone call from them asking for him to attend an interview next week at the british embassy in manila. im just wondering if any of you have got any idea what the questions will be?
Im actually thinking they might be in doubt of our relationship as we are just newly married jan 2010, we met last year march 2009 as he came over as a tourist.
thanks very much for all your help.

    maria

they probably want him to clarify something, has he applied for a visa b4 and been refused ? has he been to the UK b4 ? etc ...

if not they probably want to check your relationship is genunie, the questions will be similar to the ones posted by chancy

so get your husband to be familiar with where you live, your birthday, what you do, etc..

he could still be granted his visa straight after the interview
    so good luck

We had an applicant and we gave her a list of example questions etc she took them to the interview and gave them to the ECO .
