    You must apply before you spouse visa expires, but you must not apply more than 28 days before the expiry date.

    (Iain - I think we might have had this discussion before.. )

    It's 28 days before the 2 year anniversary of your arrival in the UK. As spouse visas are now 27 months that may be more than 28 days before your visa expires. If you delayed your journey by more than 4 months you will have to apply for FLR rather than ILR.

    If you haven't got any evidence for the first couple of months that shouldn't be a problem as they know you arrived in the UK.
