You have no need to worry! Just visit the local Immigration office before your visa expires (even on the day it expires) and get an extension. I have been in the Phils. for almost 2 years on a visitors visa.
Only 2 pieces of bad news:-
You have to pay every time you extend your visa.
You may have to wait at Immigration for a couple of hours.
But, as I say, stop worrying.
