He probably is a friendly man when he is sober,but alcohol impaires people judgement of situations,tell him you dont want to argue but could he please have a word with his father and tell him he hurt you physically and mentally,your putting a brave face on to save arguing but it really did hurt you didnt it,and thats not acceptable.
