    Post Everton's stadium plan rejected

    Everton's ambition of moving to a new stadium in Kirkby appears to be over after the government rejects a planned £400m development.

    I've always thought Everton and Liverpool should ground-share.
    Seems entirely logical to me.

    That is if Liverpool have any money left when the bank ask them to sell their best players when they don't qualify for the Champions League at the end of this season and it's a slow descent like ours

    You mean like Arsenal & Chelsea do as they are both in London.....and ManU & Man City?

    Kirkby was a stupid idea from the start, they should have stuck with the original plan of building it on the docks and making it part of the skyline.

    those are big clubs and dont need to ground share

    but think of the money both liverpool and everton could save by ground sharing and splitting the costs
    i have learnt to do what my wife says!
