Does this mean things like paracetemol/cold/flu tablets etc are prohibited as well? Now the other courier quote says on the prohibited list "Legal drugs and pharmaceutical products over £250 in value", so that seems like you can send paracetemol/cold/flu tablets as long as the value isn't over £250, but annoyingly this service is more expensive as the insurance is on top instead of included like it is with the cheaper quote.
Strangely enough, like I mentioned they both use DHL, so it sounds like it's the courier booking company, rather than the actual courier company (DHL in this case) who are making the restrictions as their prohibited lists are different! If I used the cheaper quote would you risk putting in the paracetemol/cold/flu tablets etc? Of course I can put them inside other items which will be wrapped as they are presents, so they would only know if they opened the box and then unwrapped the presents and inspected them.
