shouldn't be a problem. Just give the evidence required in the checklist for sponsored visa.

Friend of mine who is a member on here has had 2 tourist visas for the UK,didnt have a problem with either one, good luck

Sometimes you're flush and sometimes you're bust, and when you're up, it's never as good as it seems, and when you're down, you never think you'll be up again. But life goes on.
The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the passion that she shows to the outside world.

    Welcome, Rose.

A Tourist Visa ... hmm! It certainly would SEEM a logical option on your part, given that your boyfriend plans to retire to the Philippines ... and at a fraction of the cost of either a spousal or fiancee visa, it may be worthwhile taking *pot luck. But *that's what it WOULD be! Sure, there've been a number of positive outcomes in recent times ... but, generally speaking, the success rate is relatively low - unless [and I believe the system is rather unfair in this respect] the sponsor (in your case, your boyfriend) has adequate financial resources to be able to support you throughout the 6 months' duration of your visit, without becoming reliant on public funds.

Moreover, the British Government needs to be very confident that an applicant WILL return to his/her own country before the visa expires. And it would appear that there have been too many instances in the past where people have "abused the system" by overstaying its validity ... hence a considerable clamp down on the number of visitor visas issued.

So, without wishing to thwart your plans, I feel it only right and proper that I present a realistic picture of the situation from the outset. Good Luck, though, should you decide to proceed!

Hello Rose, nice meeting you here. You need to present some evidences to prove that you'll be leaving UK after your visit. Like proof of employment; bank statements; and any proof that you and your ex husband is legally separated. As with regards to bank statements, it doesnt need to be a big amount. I got my visit visa last month. I included in my kids in the application. I just submitted my certificate of employment, approve leave of absence, payslips, bank statements coz i don't have properties like land and house here., and affidavit from a lawyer stating that i don't intend to work there, that my visit is purely for visiting purposes only, a letter from your sponsor, his bank statements, proof of accommodation there, a copy of his passport and the stamped pages of it and photos of his visits. Present also birth certificate. Bring originals of your documents if possible, they will return it to you after the processing. And be honest with your intentions. If you are not employed, or if you own a business, submit the business permit. And pray for it my friend. Thats the most important thing, believe in HIM...goodluck rose
