money for trip

My wife is due ti fill in her family visit application form to uk next month. Its says on the application form. What funds do you have available for your trip. I am sponsoring my wife to uk, so she does not have any money in her account. I will send her the flight money once the visa has been granted. My question should should she leave that question blank, or should she explain the situation in greater detail. Or should i explain in more detail in my covering letter. Or will they not need this answering as i am fully supporting her trip..

i think you have answered you own question?

just fill in everything in as much detail as poss,tell them wheres shes getting the money from,then put everything in your sponsors letter backed up by evidence
