Ferguson fields 2nd string teams without punishment

Wolves officials are fuming at being called to account for something they believe bigger clubs have got away with for years.

Their written response to the Premier League will highlight specific examples involving United and ask why Ferguson was not asked to explain.

They will cite United’s final league game of last season at Hull, when Ferguson also made 10 changes from the previous match, even though his opponents were involved in a relegation battle.

Ferguson was more concerned about keeping his best players fresh for the Champions League final three days later.

In 2007, Ferguson fielded a weakened team at home to West Ham, whose 1-0 victory at Old Trafford helped them pull off a dramatic escape from relegation.

He also tried to devalue the FA Cup by pulling out of it in favour of some sprious contest in S America where he was well beaten anyway

The arrogance and petty behaviour of the man is astounding - this is going to pull him back into line

Sir Alex Ferguson will have to end his six-year ban on giving interviews to BBC reporters under newly agreed rules coming into force next season.

A motion was passed at a Premier League board meeting last week which made post-match interviews with all media rights holders mandatory for league managers, reports The Daily Telegraph.

Manchester United supremo Ferguson has not spoken to the BBC since 2004 when his son Jason, a football agent, was the subject of a Panorama documentary alleging that he used his father’s status to exert influence on the transfer market.

You don't hear anything about Ferguson Junior - last reports were his Dad had got him a Hot Dog Stand at Sold Trafford

dedworth you should get your facts right instead off this hatred for all things man utd
th fa wanted man utd to play in the competition.

"The Football Association has taken the unprecedented step to allow United to take part in the World Team Championship - a new competition involving the best club sides from each of the six continents.

FA officials say they want to give United every chance of succeeding in the tournament, which takes place next January - just at the time when Premier League clubs will be joining the third round of the FA Cup.

Sports minister Tony Banks has given his full backing to the FA.

He believes if United do not take part in the championships it could do "irreparable damage" to England's bid to host the 2006 World Cup.

But some United supporters are furious. They claim their club is being used as a pawn in the FA's on-going campaign to win over support from the international footballing community. "

so there you have it,hate man utd if you must but at least get your facts right
