Marraige certificate

Hi another question if someone can help please!

After marriage in the Philippines can we expect the marriage certificate to be given to us on the day of the wedding, or will we need to wait for this???

We are not based in the area of the Philippines where the marriage will take place and therefore need to book flights!

It's a church wedding by a preist if that makes a difference.

the marriage certificate could be given to you after the wedding so that you could submit it to your municipality and they will process it so that you could request a NSO copy.
