nearest train station to philippine embassy london

hello all,
please help me...what is the nearest train station to philippine embassy london? I came from portsmouth...Guy's I never been in london before its my first time to go there...I really need to renew my passport before i need to prepare other documents for my ILR application..my hubby dont have time to go with me because his off just weekends...So i will go o philippine embassy alone...I know i can do it just give me some info...many thanks...

Picadilly circus is the nearest tube station with Leicester square and Charing cross tube & train stations a little further away. Look where your train from Portsmouth comes into London and then work out which route is the easiest. Charing cross also has a train station, I'm not sure if your train from Portsmouth stops at Charing cross? Would be handy if it does!

i guess your going to waterloo train station but its best you find out first,from there get on the tube to the nearest tube station to the embassy....i guess this will confuse you,so maybe get a taxi from the train station

but print maps off before you leave and the tube map too!

As previously said taking a taxi is easier, though if your train does get you into Waterloo (which I believe it does) you could even walk directly there - guess it would take you less than 30 minutes. Taking a train/tube to Charing Cross or taking a tube to Piccadilly Circus probably wouldn't be that much quicker as the would still have to walk to the Embassy from those stations.

Depends how you feel most comfortable travelling.

thank you guys for your reply...I've tried to look online i found some from portsmouth to london waterloo(WAT) then i'll just take a taxi to the philippine embassy...Do you think its right and easy...

sis another suggestion:

1.from waterloo station take the Bakerloo Line towards Queen's Park Underground Station
or Bakerloo Line towards Harrow & Wealdstone Underground Station
2. Get off in Charing cross station
3. Outside charing cross station, turn left.you will see the trafalgar square, and the national gallery.(just pass outside national gallery the second street i guess is suffolk street. me mapa ng Pilipinas sa labas ng embassy)

i think its best you just get a taxi from the train station.

the tube for first timers maybe a little confusing.
