    25 December, 2009 ...

... has arrived in the UK ... approximately 8 hours after it dawned in the Phils ... and, as an appropriate way of ushering-in my 2,512th post, I should very much like to take the opportunity of expressing my own PERSONAL Seasonal Greetings [and those of my beloved wife] to friends and co-forumers in BOTH countries - and beyond:

Merry Christmas everyone ... from Arthur & Myrna. And thank you most sincerely, Keith, for the privilege of being a member of this superb forum ... from which I derive so much pleasure, in helping others WHEREVER and WHENEVER possible.

You forgot to mention annoying others as well....Only joking, it wouldn't be the same without you.

    Have a great day!

Happy Christmas to you too Arthur and Myrna! I'm just getting ready before going to my parents and I still have some presents to wrap! I'm feeling rather tired though as I was up chatting to Suzie until 4am early this mornig!

I am afraid there is actually, Phils is eight hours ahead according to the clocks, but dawn occurs at an infinitely different time around the world.
    Merry Christmas

However, I do accept completely that christmas day starts exactly eight hours later in UK than Phils....

OMG I am even being sarcastic towards myself now!
