land tax payment

hi all i have just inheirted land in leyte.
municipal office inform me there is a back payment 16,000.pisos
how do i know if this fiqure?
does anyone know the annual tax payment per hectecra is there a website?

We had exactly the same situation with my wifes land in Leyte. We had to pay some inheritance back tax but it wasn't too much. I don't know how they work out the figures though.
