hi all
my phills gf living in dubai earns more than me and she owns her own home paid for in phills. she rents her phills house to pay for her young daughters upkeep and also to help her mum out as her mum is bringing up her daughter.
regarding her uk visa application once married,would it be better for her to show she has savings in her own account or for her to transfer cash to my account?or maybe for us to have a joint account?
also, i cannot really afford to send her money in dubai,she doesnt need it anyway.hey-she could send me money!! would my not sending her money be detrimental to her uk visa application? what would be the best course of action? any help greatly appreciated.

is NO requirement to send money to your partner as proof of relationship.

Some people use it as further/additional "proof" of a long-term relationship, but if
your case is strong (many meetings, continuous e-mails, photos etc), then it loses it's
significance.

I would be VERY careful with transferring money from her to you.
That would indicate to the ECO that you need her support to survive ... not a good
way of trying to convince him that u have sufficient funds to support her visa application.
